Google Business Profile Audit

See where your profile is strong and where it is weak for local ranking, in 10 questions. No signup, no email — the calculation runs in your browser and no data is sent to us.

Category and basics

1 Does your primary category match your main service exactly?

The primary category is the heaviest relevance signal in local ranking. It should sit on your highest-volume core service.

2 Is your service list filled in, with a description for each item?

On most profiles this field is either empty or filled with Google’s generic suggestions — meaning it is identical to your competitors’.

3 Are your hours, phone and website link current?

A profile that shows as closed, or has the wrong number, loses that customer even when its ranking is good.

Reviews

4 How many reviews do you have?

5 How does your review volume compare to the top three?

Look at the three businesses that appear for your target query.

6 Do you reply to reviews?

Service and place names that appear in your replies also produce relevance signals.

Content and freshness

7 Have you posted from your profile in the last 30 days?

8 Have you added new photos in the last 90 days?

A steady trickle works better than uploading thirty photos once and never touching it again.

Website connection

9 Which page on your site does the profile link to?

10 Are the business name and phone on your site identical to the profile?

NAP consistency: the same business written the same way across every source.

What this measures — and what it doesn’t

What it measures is the structural state of your profile: category accuracy, service structure, review strength, freshness and website connection. Together these make up most of the relevance and prominence signals Google weighs in local ranking.

What it does not measure is your actual ranking. Local ranking changes with the searcher’s location; a single score cannot represent that. Seeing where you place across your city requires a 49-point grid measurement — which is included in the free audit.

Frequently asked

Does this tool connect to my profile?
+

No. Nothing is sent to a server — everything is calculated in your browser. We do not ask for access to your Google account and we do not store your answers.

Does my score guarantee a ranking?
+

No. This tool measures the structural state of your profile, not your ranking. Ranking also depends on proximity and competition — seeing your real position requires grid measurement laid over the city.

Why don’t you ask for an email at the end?
+

Because this is not a trap. You see your score and your weak points immediately. Whether you request a free audit afterwards is up to you.
